Feature Request – Live Agent Presence Indicator in Chat
Hi,
I’d like to suggest a feature that I believe would greatly improve the user experience for teams using uChat.
It would be very helpful to have a live indicator showing when other agents are currently viewing or typing in the same customer chat. Similar to how Google Docs shows when someone else is editing a document, this feature could help avoid overlaps, duplicated messages, and improve internal coordination.
For example:
A small icon or agent initials could appear when someone else is viewing the conversation.
A typing indicator could show when another agent is actively responding.
This feature would be especially useful in team environments where multiple agents might handle chats simultaneously.
