How to Use
- Go to Settings → Live Chat
- Scroll to the Audio transcription section
- Select Groq - whisper-large-v3-turbo from the dropdown
- Save — all incoming audio messages in Live Chat will now be automatically transcribed to text using Groq's Whisper engine
Why It Matters
- Groq's LPU (Language Processing Unit) hardware runs Whisper at significantly higher speeds than CPU/GPU-based OpenAI Whisper — reducing transcription latency for agents in real-time support conversations
- Pairs naturally with the Partner Groq API Key setting (released same day) — partners can use their own Groq key to power transcription across all client workspaces
- Enables a fully Groq-powered AI stack within UChat (AI Agents + AI Tasks + Audio Transcription)
